Family Guidance Inc. (FGI) serves vulnerable children and families in the Pittsburgh region through its sub-brand programs; Promise Camp, and one2one mentoring. FGI is looking for a relational, energetic, forward thinking individual to lead the development/fundraising department in its efforts to find the resources needed to support this critical work. This position is highly administrative balanced with a public relational capacity. The position will work hand in hand with the Director of Development to coordinate donor communications, major donor operation and events. P r o m i s e C a m p :
Promise Camp is a highly relational Christ-centered residential summer camp. Campers range between 7 and 17 years of age and are frequently from unchurched, single-parent families, and from various cultural backgrounds. The camp program is divided into 6 one-week sessions and a leadership development camp which runs concurrently for 2 two-week sessions. Family Guidance offers ten days of onsite paid training as well as supervision and assistance throughout the camp.
The Lead Counselor is an integral part of the daily operation of the camp. He or she will work directly with at-risk youth providing friendship, fun activities, and guidance. The Activities Coordinator works directly with at-risk youth providing games, crafts, and activities which provide fun, challenge, and learning related to faith and the journey of following Christ. Full Job Description
The facilities crew member helps to clean and maintain facilities, stock restroom areas, and help with grounds keeping duties (mowing, weed whacking, poison ivy control, etc.). Full Job Description

One2One is Pittsburgh’s oldest youth mentoring program and one of the nation’s best faith-based mentoring initiatives. One2One is designed to help children develop socially, emotionally, physically and spiritually through meaningful and trusting relationships with God and their mentor. We offer both community-based and site-based mentoring models in order to accommodate a variety of situations.
The One2One Mentoring Supervisor will work with individuals, churches, schools and facilities to manage mentoring programs as we train, match, and consistently supervise adult volunteers in their mentoring matches with at-risk youth. This position may also provide support to the parent(s) of the children we match, including encouragement, providing information and making referrals as needed. Full Job Description
