Jennifer is a life-long Pittsburgh resident who has spent her career serving youth and adults in local nonprofits. Upon graduating Allegheny College with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, she was called to serve youth. She earned her master’s degree in Applied Developmental Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Education and worked at Sarah Heinz House, a Boys & Girls Club (SHH), where she also spent most of her childhood. She spent 10 years as a Program and Camp Director before she became the Director of Outcomes and Performance Management. Following her time at SHH, she joined the University of Pittsburgh as the Director of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, a program for people 50 and better who want to stay engaged and active through learning.
Currently, Jennifer is working on a Master’s in Public Policy and Management from the University of Pittsburgh. Jennifer, her husband and her two children attend Sacred Heart Church in Emsworth, PA where she serves as the 2nd grade Catechist, President of the Ladies Auxiliary, and leader of the Children’s Liturgy of the Word. She is excited to lead the camping ministry and share the love of Jesus through nature and the relationships the youth and staff form.
