Promise Camp Facilities Manager
My Name is Michael W. Davis. I am 57 years old and currently work as a Service Technician for Light Of Life Rescue Mission, and Facilities Manager for Family Guidance’s Promise Camp. I am married to my beautiful wife Christine with whom I have six children and seven grandchildren. We currently reside at Promise Camp in Clinton, PA which is close to Raccoon State Park. We attend and are members of Allegheny Center Alliance Church in Pittsburgh, where my wife is also employed.
I was born and raised in Ohio Township, Pennsylvania and attended Avonworth High School graduating in 1978. After graduation, I attended trade school to become an electrician. I moved to Atlanta and lived there for 8 years and moved back to Pittsburgh for 6 years before joining the United States Army in October of 1993 until 1997. I worked on secure communications in Japan for 3 years, also spending time in Korea, Alaska, and Hawaii. After I left the Army I worked as a Local 5 Union Electrician in Pittsburgh until 2 years ago when I joined the Light of Life Rescue Mission.
