Philip has always had a heart to serve the less fortunate. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Allegheny College, and Master’s degree from the University of Pittsburgh. After retiring from a successful business career spanning 30 years in the Financial Services industry, Philip joined Light of Life Rescue Mission to help men and women build critical life/work skills and to find sustainable employment for the future. In his role as Executive Director of Family Guidance, Philip’s extensive relationship-building, sales, and management skills are helping to grow our mentoring programs and expand Promise Camp to serve more vulnerable children. He is also focusing on utilizing Promise Camp in the off-season as a retreat center for other nonprofits, churches, companies, families and the community at large. Most importantly, Philip has a servant’s heart and plans to continue Family Guidance’s long-standing tradition of bringing “Hope and a Future through Jesus Christ” to Pittsburgh’s most vulnerable children.
