Children ages 7-17 come to Promise Camp throughout the six sessions we offer!  Each week’s session is serving a specific age group.  (Example:  Session 1 this past summer was 11-14 year olds!)  The children we serve are from underserved neighborhoods in the Pittsburgh region.  

Camp Staff arrives mid-June for ten days of training.  Kids will come for six one-week sessions.  Summer 2023 runs through the first week of August.   

Yes!  The kids stay for their sessions Sunday – Thursday’s!  Camp Staff has the weekends to rest, relax, and recharge!

Promise Camp is a very relational summer camp with a 3:1 camper to staff ratio.  For every cabin there are two counselors!  Most cabins have around six kids per week.  We try to have about 50-70 kids per session or week!
