WHAT IS PROMISE CAMP

THE CAMP OF PROMISE

For over 40 years, Promise Camp has been providing a quality summer experience for historically underserved Pittsburgh area children. Every summer, hundreds of kids (ages 7-17) learn about the promise of Jesus Christ, while enjoying a variety of traditional summer camp experiences and making lasting relationships.

Promise Camp is 112 acres located in Beaver County (about 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh). Facilities include bunkhouses, cabins, a multipurpose activities center (for worship, crafts, and games), and a dining hall. Campers enjoy using our basketball court, in-ground swimming pool, 40-foot climbing tower, firepits, ropes course, and more.

our environment

One of our Promise Camp distinctives is our highly relational environment with a 3:1 camper to staffer ratio. Campers live in community with our highly trained college-aged counselors. The gospel is presented daily to campers and counselors who are ready to answer questions and help campers understand the message being shared. In addition, many Promise Camp activities instill self-confidence and help campers develop team-building and relational skills.

Where is promise camp?

Located in Clinton, PA (Beaver County) about 25 miles outside of Pittsburgh. Only one exit past the Pittsburgh International Airport off of I-376 West.

what are the facilities like at promise camp?

The indoor facilities include bunkhouses, cabins, a multipurpose activities center, and a dining hall. The outdoor facilities include a basketball court, in-ground swimming pool, rock walls, firepits, ropes course, and more.

Our facilities are perfect for a men or women’s ministry retreat, youth group gatherings, or corporate/organizational seminars! We cater to your group’s specific needs whether that be food service, AV packages, or sports gear.
